Prostate Cancer Foundation of South Africa

The Prostate Cancer Foundation the leading non-profit organisation dedicated to prostate cancer.


The patient affairs division is run by men who have been affected by prostate cancer. They run a support group for men who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer as well as assisting with raising awareness about the disease.


Information and support are also available for men via a telephone helpline and through the website and social media channels.

ASK Now Patient Services is an advocacy organisation that was formed in 2016 to give South African patients and those affected by cancer a voice. Their mission is to ensure that the patients’ rights are protected by:

  • Ensuring dialogues amongst role-players,
  • Facilitating solutions with regard to cancer prevention and treatment,
  • Representing patients, and those affected, with regard to policy, healthcare costs and delivery.
